In-Home Consult

2.5 hours min. $400 Flat Fee

I come to you in your home and bring everything to you. I come with my professional grade Tanita neonatal infant scale, different brands/sizes of flanges, nipple shields, nipple ointment, bottles and other accoutrements needed. It looks like I am moving in! I do not have an alarm for when the session ends. I will never leave before the family feels we’ve accomplished everything they’ve wanted. Often this is between 2.5 -3 hours, or longer as needed. Typical session includes feeding, pumping and flange evaluation, maternal and infant history, oral exam, weight, basic lactation education, education, return to work plans, plan of care and more. Follow up in-home consults are billed only for actual time used, just like tele-health sessions.

Service area and travel distance: Included in the fee is a round trip 1 hour from my location to yours. I live in Leawood Kansas. If you live outside that area, I can still visit you. The extra time driving time will be added to your visit cost at the rate of my tele-health sessions.

Texting Support & Follow ups

Moms speak very highly of my availability for follow up via text. Even voice memos are helpful and used, Often answered within the hour, even weekends and evenings. If a topic is is more appropriately answered with a call or home visit, I will discuss this with you. Ala Carte and Packages available. Transparency of billing highly important to me.

A LA CARTE

A LA CARTE texting is Invoiced at the same hourly rate of tele-health, in increments of 5 minutes. Complexity of topic(s), time spent reading, responding and clinical decision making accounted for. Invoice sent after topic is resolved and dates listed where texting was used.

GOLD $270

GOLD Package is an add on option to previous home or tele consult. 1 Month Retainer, unlimited texts. Weekends and evenings included. I will be checking in on your proactively. Cap of 2 hours of time used. Value unused at the end of the month may be rolled over or refunded. At any time patient may request value used or remaining. Additional value may be added any time.

SILVER $135

SILVER Package is an add on option to previous home or tele consult. 2-week retainer, unlimited texts. Weekends and evenings included. I will be checking in on you proactively. Cap of 1 hour of time used. Value unused at the end of the 2 week period may be rolled over, saved or refunded. At any time patient may request value used or remaining. Additional value may be added any time.

BRONZE $68

BRONZE Package is an add on option to previous home or tele consult. 1-week retainer, unlimited texts. Weekends and evenings included. I will be checking in on you proactively. Cap of 30 minutes of time used. Value unused at the end of the 1-week period may be rolled over, saved or refunded. At any time patient may request value used or remaining. Additional value may be added any time.

Tele-Health Consult

1 hour $135

From prenatal, to latch, pumping, weaning, feeding plans, milk supply evaluation, flange fittings, return to work, introduction of solids, growth evaluation, mastitis, plugged ducts, sleep changes and more…I have been working virtually with clients for years and uses ZOOM for video calls. Trained by the best IBCLCs and LLLLs to be appropriately hands off, and very descriptive in her techniques. She doesn’t need her own hands; she teaches you how to use your own so that you can be successful even when the call ends. “My skill set lies in being able to teach you to use your own hands!” You will only pay for the time used to the 5 minutes. Upon scheduling you will pay for the first 1 hour, any unused time refunded post call, and any additional time needed billed post call. Repeat clients will be invoiced after our session.

Support Group

Summer has been leading support groups since her early days as a LLL Leader (cc. 2006) and continues to do so now as an IBCLC. She has a private FaceBook Support Group that is extremely active and grown to be worldwide. She moderates this group along with 14 other moderators (she carefully elected) to keep the group loving, without judgment or drama and only sharing evidenced based information. She fiercely protects this group, reads every post herself and to keep it safe, the only people that she accepts requests into the group HAVE to be invited by a current member.

This group is quite special according to members, saying this is their “Boobie Google” and only place they feel safe and can trust they will receive supportive and extremely helpful information. Members also love being able to see other people’s stories, challenges and successes. It can help everyone feel less alone during the vulnerable postpartum period.

People even remain in the group beyond their own journey’s end to be able to help others through their journey. Mothers supporting mothers!

*partners and men are allowed in the group as long as they belong to the lactating parent. The group also consists of many medical professionals, especially those in the mother/baby field.

Payment

My lactation business is concierge service. This means you have direct access to me without any middle person. I answer your text or call 7 days a week. I do not accept insurance. Invoices are sent using Square to your email and payable with any credit card. Venmo also available for payment @donenaturally or @summerjadefriedmann.

Payment is due at the time of scheduling to confirm and hold your appointment. Returning patients will be billed after our visit.

Some families have been able to use their HSA and FSA cards for payment, but does depend on how your specific HSA/FSA account is set up through your provider.

Gift Cards

Perfect for a baby shower or just because you want to help someone you care about! Can be purchased in any amount and used towards any service with Summer and do not expire. Digital Gift Card sent to you to give to your named recipient. Recipient responsible for contacting Summer for scheduling. Contact Summer to purchase. Name and contact information of recipient needed, and only redeemable by named recipient.
