You found the hidden text! Did you know... One single drop of a mother's colostrum has nearly 1 million white blood cells in it! True amazing power we hold as human mothers to heal. "Every Drop Counts!" - Summer

Done Naturally provides Lactation support in the comfort of your own home to families in the Greater Kansas City area. Outside of Kansas City, Summer offers phone and/or video consults for specific lactation needs. Done Naturally Lactation Services is owned and operated by Summer J Friedmann, IBCLC, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Each consultation will be designed to meet your needs. Depending on your situation, a in-home consultation may be the most appropriate. There are other circumstances, where a phone consultation would meet your need. Summer can help you determine which one is in your best interest.

With a home visit, it is helpful to have other family members present at the time of the consult to get the most out of your visit. Having others that are involved in the care of the mother and the baby listen to the evaluation increases the chances of her ability to carry out the plan.

A phone consultation  may vary in length depending on your needs. A new client initial home visit can be expected to last at mimimum 2 hours. In either case, Summer is highly trained to care for normal breastfeeding management, variations and also has great experience with other more complicated issues.

Or it simply may be time to wean and the mother has chosen or the baby and a plan to easily transition to fully weaned is highly helpful for families.

* It is ideal to have your consult at a time when baby will be interested in feeding. Every effort will be made to make this happen which makes the consult most effective.
