Whole Grain Hot Cakes
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 eggs
2 tablespoons applesauce
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Spoon 1/4
cup onto hot lightly greased griddle. Cook until puffy and
dry around edges and then flip over. Cook until golden brown.
Serve with fruit yogurt. Makes 2 servings. |
