California Pizza
1 (6 inch) pocketless pita
1 plum tomato, chopped
1/3 cup chopped cooked skinless chicken
3 tablespoons shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/8 avocado, diced
1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts
2 tablespoons sour cream
Preheat the oven to 425 F. Set the pita on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the
tomato, chicken, and cheese, then bake until the cheese melts and the pita
begins to get crisp(about 10 minutes). Sprinkle with the avocado and sprouts
and dollop with the sour cream. Serves one. 29 grams protein.
Tip: If you have a toaster oven, use it to speed up the process. Because the
toaster oven is much smaller, you don't have to wait as long for them to preheat.
